Nintendo Fusion Tour thing with Fall Out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack, and The Starting Line October 31st at Bren Events Center (which is 5 minutes from my house). So perfect, but it's on a freaking Monday. [sigh] I don't know. I want to go so badly, but... it won't be easy. And I'll have to make sure my tenor lessons are on Tuesdays once school starts (though that's what I'd want anyways. Wednesday would be ideal, but I don't think he gives lessons Wednesdays, so it'd have to be Tuesday). Have to see. I'll bug my mom about it tonight.
Dead Like Me is taking far too long to download. sigh. I have no patience.
How is it that everytime I write an essay for SAT homework/tests and I use the Civil War as one of my examples, I come out sounding like I wish the South had won the war and that slavery hadn't been abolished? It's crazy. I totally don't think that at all, but somehow whenever I try to make my point about something, I come off sounding like that. ack.
Veronica/Logan (Veronica Mars) in Weapons of Class Destruction

I remember after I saw this kiss, I totally began to hyperventilate for the following 15 minutes, and I couldn't shake the grin off my face for the next hour or so. I was spoiled, but only for the fact that they would kiss, so when Veronica pecked Logan on the side of the mouth, I thought that was it. I mean, I was glad that even that happened, because I had started really liking the idea of them together in The Wrath of Con and they became my OTP in Ruskie Business, but I had wanted more. But then. guh. Logan got this look in his eyes and he grabbed her arm and spun her around, and man, I totally would've let out a high-pitched squeal if my dad hadn't been working on something in the same room and if I weren't in a hotel where people would've been pissed off by the loud noise. It was just... guh. I loved it.
Luke/Lorelai (Gilmore Girls) in Raincoats and Recipes

Because I (and all other L/L shippers) waited 4 long years for this kiss, and boy was it fantastic when it finally happened. I loved these two from the very first episode, and I remember getting increasingly annoyed that Luke/Lorelai hadn't happened yet during the 1st season and wondering when it finally would. And it finally did. That kiss was the culmination of 4 years of waiting for the two to finally realize their feelings and be in the right place and just... be together. [sighs happily]
Brian/Justin (Queer as Folk) in the season 1 finale

Because Brian's dipping Justin and then he's spinning Justin and then they're kissing, and it's just [sigh]. I love it all. I mean, 122 is my favorite episode of the entire series (thus far), and it's just... amazing. I squee the second Brian shows up at Justin's prom, and then the song and the dancing and the kissing, and man are their kisses hot. There are so many Brian/Justin kisses to choose from, but this is the top for me, because it's all just so perfect and I forget the angst that's to come at the end of the episode every single time I watch them dance together. God I love this scene.
Pacey/Joey (Dawson's Creek) in Cinderella Story

Ok, so technically this cap is from Neverland, but... well, in Cinderella Story, it's just a closeup of their faces, and while that works wonderfully in the episode, I hate to make graphics of images that are closeups of faces. So, I took a cap with a better angle of the kiss from Neverland. Anyways. Um, geez. I adore this kiss. Pacey having to stop by the road because he's going insane being in love with Joey without letting her know, and the whole fight with the "Don't you ever get tired of talking?" "No, I don't--" "Well, I get tired of talking." "I don't get tired of talking. I don't--" "I don't want to talk anymore." "What are you trying to say? Why are we standing--" And then the kiss. guh. Pacey/Joey is the only reason Dawson's Creek is worth watching, for me. And then the pushing, and the later realization that Joey likes Pacey too, and... sigh. Now I have the urge to watch my season 3 DVDs again. Pacey/Joey is love.
Bright/Hannah (Everwood) in Where the Heart Is

Hannah is seriously one of the best new characters introduced in a later season of a TV show ever. Seriously. I thought I would hate her when I first heard about her, but I totally fell in love with her. And her friendship with Bright was my absolute, hands-down favorite part of season 3. It's one of the only things that kept me watching the entire season. And the kiss... geez. So perfect. Bright almost backing down and then the "Wait... no, wait," and him standing so freaking close to her and "You got hot," and his trying to explain his feelings for her and and the "Oh, man. Ugh," and just... kissing her. [dies] And him freaking lifting her up and giving her a second kiss and guh. I cannot wait until next season.
Honorable Mentions: George Michael/Maeby (Arrested Development) in Righteous Brothers; Jaye/Eric (Wonderfalls) in Lovesick Ass; Brian/Justin (Queer as Folk) in ep 511

Date: 2005-07-28 02:49 am (UTC)And aww, the kisses are teh hotness. Especially B/J [like you couldn't guess that would be my opinion, heh]. And the LoVe was awesome too. The only other one I squeed over was the S/S Spiderman kiss from I don't even know what episode. That was hot.

Date: 2005-07-28 02:51 am (UTC)Um, but yes. That was from The Rainy Day Woman, but... I felt that went over the line of cheesiness. eh. And I really hated this season of The O.C. If I were to go with any O.C. kiss, it'd be in The Telenovela, where Seth goes on the cart/stand thing and then pulls Summer up and they kiss in front of everyone. That's so adorable, and I still loved both characters at that point.

Date: 2005-07-28 03:04 am (UTC)thank you.S2 sucked, period. But that kiss was hot, even if it was overly cheesy. But yes, The Telenovela was awesome.

Date: 2005-07-28 03:52 am (UTC)Um, random, but do you know how to copy videos (like episodes I have on my computer) onto CDs? I may have this figured out by the time you reply, but I figured I'd ask anyways. I have way too many video files on my computer, and I really need to get them off.

Date: 2005-07-28 08:43 pm (UTC)Aww, you deleted VM? That's sad :(.

Date: 2005-07-28 08:48 pm (UTC)I know, it is sad. But immediately after that, I pre-ordered the DVD set of season 1 on the Barnes and Noble webpage with that gift card I have. So it'll be ok. I had been planning on watching all the episodes, one or two a week, this summer, but... I'm already several episodes behind, and I have other TV shows to watch that I've never seen before. So it's ok.
