brokenrecordThis weekend was really nice. Thursday was pumpkin pie and turkey and mashed potatoes, and Friday and Saturday were continuing my Buffy and Angel rewatch with my parents. Even though I totally just rewatched Angel in August, I'm really eager to keep watching season 2 (where we are now) of Angel. I mean, I'm eager for Buffy, too, but that's more expected since I haven't seen Buffy Season 5 since I was a junior in high school (omg was that really 4 years ago already? Ridiculous). But I just love the season arc of this season of Angel! The next Angel ep we have up is Darla and the next Buffy ep is Fool For Love, so I'm so ridiculously excited to watch those. I also went with my parents this weekend to see A Serious Man, the new Coen brothers movie, which was really amazing and I highly recommend it.
omg it's so weird when Dr. Tom doesn't have all the answers. It was weird seeing him talking to a therapist and going back in time! But also very cool. I like that the show has been mixing things up this season, like with Erica helping Dr. Tom in the past and going to the future to help Kai and the redo the day episode and now this. I liked the show after the first season, but I'm so much more invested and into it now.
Also, I'M REALLY SUPER SHIPPING ERICA AND KAI NOW. OH MAN. I'm so hoping that this storyline continues next season. I don't want him to disappear after this season. I'm hoping either he somehow is able to stick around despite being from the future, or that he goes back and Erica has to like... build a relationship with current!Kai who has no idea about therapy and everything. But I'd rather future!Kai stay because he can understand and know about Erica's therapy, and that's one of the aspects of their relationship that I love the most. Also, Ethan and Erica's relationship is so ridiculously boring. It was kind of cute in season 1, but now I'm just sick of it.
I have 2 full weeks of school, 2 days of school, 2 days with nothing, and then 2 days of finals and then I'm home. I think the most work I have to do will actually be in the first two weeks rather than the week with finals. I'm really looking forward to this semester being over. I have a draft of a project due tomorrow afternoon in Discrete Math that I've barely started on, and I have to do so much work for my research project this week, including analyzing the results and writing a draft of the discussion. At least I'm done collecting data. That was not fun.
