Very, very random TV thoughts:

A lot of my reaction to this episode was "OMG WESLEY. OMG, FAITH AND WESLEY!!!" I still can't adjust to Alexis Denisof's normal accent. I keep expecting a British accent.

I KNEW WESLEY WAS A DOLL I SO KNEW IT. AAAAWESOME. DAMNIT WHY IS THIS SHOW CANCELED. WESLEY COULD TOTALLY BE FULL-TIME ON THE SHOW! Has he had a steady gig since Angel went off the air? My dad was asking me what he's done since then other than guesting on HIMYM and I was like "...uh... he's on Dollhouse now? And he and Alyson Hannigan just had a baby?"

Most of the time I find Paul annoying, but him kicking that guy's ass so effortlessly with his hands tied was pretty awesome and kickass. Just saying.

SUMMER GLAU OMG. DID NOT KNOW SHE WAS SHOWING UP THIS EPISODE. I love Joss Whedon. Nathan Fillion totally needs to show up now, btw. And Alyson Hannigan. And everyone else.

HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THE CASTING THESE 2 EPISODES? YOU HAVE THE NORMAL CAST, THEN ALEXIS DENISOF, SUMMER GLAU, LUNDY FROM DEXTER, THE GUY WHO'S NAME I FORGET WHO PLAYED THE DEVIL ON REAPER. I mean if there had been only one of those, I would be like "HEY THAT'S PRETTY AWESOME!" But no, there's all of them!

omg Victor as Topher was amazingly spot-on. That actor is brilliant. He better find a new show soon because I need him on my TV. Same with Sierra. Who was 100% missing in these 2 episodes! Not cool. I mean, the fact that the last episode was all about her and amazing definitely helps, but still. I definitely am more interested in her and her and Victor together than Echo and Ballard.

Joss Whedon needs to develop another show and get it on the air as soon as possible (on a network that's not Fox this time, maybe) so he can keep bringing together Angel, Buffy, and Firefly (and now Dollhouse, too, I guess!) alums. I think I'll miss having stuff like Alexis Denisof and Eliza Dushku on the same show in the same scenes more than anything else about this show. Although now I'm bitter that I realized THERE SO NEEDS TO BE A ALEXIS DENISOF/AMY ACKER SCENE. She's coming back for at least one episode, right? He better be in that episode. Just saying. He better be in all the rest of the episodes this season, actually. Alexis Denisof always needs to be on my TV!

Watching this episode really made me want to watch Angel Season 4. Dammit, why isn't it break yet? Although, I doubt I'd get to Angel Season 4 by the end of winter break. Probably not until spring break, or more likely over the summer (if I'm home over the summer). But still!

ljasfd OMG MARC <333 Marc is totally why I still watch this show. Well, one of the main reasons anyways. And good for him for finally quitting working for Wilhemina. And I loved the Marc/Daniel scenes, so seeing more of them together is going to be awesome. I loved Daniel telling Marc how good he is, because Wilhemina never does.

Last season of Ugly Betty was pretty bad, and the season before wasn't much better, but I've been enjoying this season a lot for the most part! Hopefully it'll continue.

omg I'm really loving Cara. And I kind of desperately want her and Richard to develop some sort of feeling for each other and have a horribly fucked up secret relationship and then Kahlan will find out and it will be very angsty and awesome. I don't know. I like Richard and Kahlan, but they're not OTP for me, and right now their storyline is pretty boring because it's just "We love each other! But we can't be together!" and... that's it. But a relationship between Cara and Richard would be super interesting I think. And I love how loyal she's been to him so far. It's awesome. Although I feel at some point she's going to betray him (although I'm sure there will be a very good reason for it!).

I was incredibly productive Friday afternoon/night (I finished all my Discrete Math work for the week! The week is suddenly looking a bit better knowing that I don't have DM on Thursday and can sleep in and don't have to do anything else for the class until next weekend.) and I actually got a good amount done Saturday as well. It turns out I have less to do this weekend than I originally thought, which is good. Today I need to finish revising my introduction and results for my research project so I can go over it and my presentation with my adviser tomorrow, prepare for the presentation, prepare for my cognitive psych group presentation (which is on Thursday, but we're meeting Tuesday to work on it, so I should have stuff prepared by then), and... I don't know. Start making flashcards for my German/Cognitive Psych finals? As I said, I actually don't have a lot left. Which is why I'll probably do nothing before dinner, and then after dinner I'll start feeling stressed out that I've done nothing all day and go to the library for a few hours and get everything done. Which should be fine. I mean, really, none of the stuff I'm planning on doing today is actually due tomorrow or Tuesday even, so it's not entirely necessary I get it done now. It's just so I don't go crazy this week or next.

I analyzed my results for my research project Friday and got zero significant results. Well, for one of the scales, the result was marginally significant, but in the exact opposite way I predicted, and... I don't know what to say about that. I can talk about no result, but I can't talk about the opposite result. It makes zero sense. I mean, the result is basically that in students without siblings, social self-esteem is higher for freshmen/sophomores than for juniors/seniors, which doesn't fit AT ALL with the literature that shows very clearly that social skills are gained throughout time in college. But it's not significant, so I don't really have to explain it too much. It's a little disappointing not to have any significant results and to not have my hypothesis supported, but I can think of several reasons why this might be, and most directed research students don't end up with significant results. In my group, of the 2 other people who have finished data analysis, one had zero significant results, and the other had significant results, but, like me, had a bunch of results she totally didn't expect and can't explain. Data analysis in general is kind of really cool, though. It's real world data! Rather than random made up data sets so you can learn how to use SPSS! I don't know. I enjoyed it. I would totally enjoy like being a statistics/data analysis consultant for... someone, or something. I don't know. I'm a dork.

There are only 13 days until my last final and then I'm flying home! I can't wait. I can so do with a break right now. And in 8 days, my research project is due, and that's causing me more stress than anything else right now, probably, so I'll be so thankful to have that out of the way. This past week went by super fast, so I'm hoping this week will as well. Especially since I have 2 presentations this week, and I hate presentations. I'm so bad at public speaking. blah.

Yeah, exactly, that was one of the reasons I really enjoyed them pairing up Daniel and Marc. And I also liked them pairing up Daniel and Amanda again; I like when they remember that characters have a history. I'm sure Marc will eventually return to Wilhelmina or continue scheming with her while working for Daniel, because they definitely are awesome together.
