Thank you everyone who filled out my poll! You guys are all so awesome. I love my friends list. :D By the way, Lulu ([livejournal.com profile] violetmist2003) wins at being my oldest friend at "238473284 to the infinity and beyond!" years. I think there's a chance she may have been exaggerating a bit, though.

I guess a week's worth of total insomnia finally caught up with me, because I went to bed at 11:15 and had fallen asleep by 12:15. I guess that sounds kind of long, but for me, 12:15 is early. Besides, I like to listen to Loveline from 11-12. So, falling asleep not long after Loveline ends is good. Of course, I woke up this morning just as the Bob Burnquist interview was ending. sigh. Not as bad as this one time last year, though. The creators of Wonderfalls were supposed to be on the morning show on KROQ and I think it must've been right after it was cancelled and I really wanted to listen to it, and it was during spring break so I actually would've been able to listen to it if I had woken up in time. So, I woke up (not sure what time) and I heard them come back from a break and say "The creators of Wonderfalls, next!" and I was like "OMG YES PERFECT TIMING!" And they put on a song, and I promptly fell asleep. I was so pissed off at myself for that the rest of the day.

Sometime during my nice, long sleep, I had this crazy-ass dream where I was at a Lakers game and Daniel Radcliffe (actor who plays Harry Potter in the HP movies) was playing point guard. He was so much shorter than everyone else playing, it was crazy. And there was this television on the wall and all of the sudden it started playing a short interview with Bob Burnquist. I forgot what he said, though. Oh, and at the same time as the Laker game, there were like... two courts in the place where they were playing, so there were a few random people playing basketball on the other court. I found that amusing during my dream, for some reason. Yeah. Anyways.

OMG X GAMES START TONIGHT! Hate being on the west coast, though, because it goes from 6-9 here, meaning that it starts during my SAT class. Stupid class. I have it set to record (I have no idea how I ever survived before I got a DVR player), but I still wish I could watch it as it starts. blah.

Taken from [livejournal.com profile] spike_buffy:
True Story: A religion teacher assigned her class an essay on what makes a good Christian. One student wrote about praying nightly, say no to abortion, banning gay marriage, and donating money. The other student wrote about talking to God and allowing people to enjoy their lives, and supporting gay marriage. The day the teacher was to hand the papers back, she called up the second student and told him she would pray for him when he went to hell. The student asked why would he be going to hell, and why he got an F on his paper. The teacher told him that Catholicism is against gay marriage. The student looked at her for a minute, then said aloud, "I'm gay." The teacher kicked him out of class as if he had said fuck or worshiped Satan. A girl in the back of class who had a boyfriend and was obviously straight got up and left too.

If you would leave the classroom, repost this. It doesn't matter if you're straight, bi, or gay. It doesn't matter if you're Catholic or not. Everyone is a human being and deserves happiness.

I get my own tag! Tee hee :D. And dude, I was so not exaggerating. You people have no idea.

And they put on a song, and I promptly fell asleep.
Aww, that sucks. I think I remember you talking about it, except I didn't care about Wonderfalls at the time. Such sadness :(.

And that teacher sucks. Stupid homophobes.

Hee, yes, you are special. Except Annie has one too. So, are you like a vampire like Angel? Or a grim reaper, like George? Or... I don't know. I can't think of any other immortal-type beings that look the same no matter how old they get.

It was sad. I ended up being able to download the interview later that day, though, so that made me feel better. Now I just have to see if I can find a place to download this interview! Probably not though. :(

That teacher does suck. blah. I totally would've walked out in an instant.

Um, I'll take vampire. Cause vampires are awesome. Although a reaper would be fun as well.

I don't know if I would've walked out. I mean, I would've been really pissed, but I'm too much of a goody-goody to walk out unless at least a few other people did. Then again, I'm glad none of the teachers at UNI are that stupid.

Whee, I already chose out another 50 icons to rotate. So I'm gonna upload them when I get home :D.

Haha, nice.

I would've. At least, if I wasn't too shocked/pissed off to think to do it. But discrimination of homosexuals is one of the few things that would get me pissed off enough to leave. Besides, I'm totally a goody-goody, so I think it'd be ok solely because I wouldn't have ever done anything like that in the past.

Hee, good job. I'll probably wait until I see an amazing icon post and really want to use some of those icons, or until I make some more icons I like. Haven't made any icons in like a week.

I have a pretty icon with an angry face and 'homophobes', but I can't find it. It would've been perfect.

Hee, that's awesome. :D You totally have to show it to me when you find it.

Mkay, I shall.

Blah, I have a friend who refuses to watch QaF because she thinks it's boy!porn, and cause she's squicked out by the thought of two guys kissing. Which it totally isn't, not in the least. I just never thought she'd be the homophobic type.

Ew, that's annoying. =/ You should beat her up. :) Violence solves all problems. Heh, I think I've told you that at least twice already.

I feel you on the insomnia thing. I usually go to bed around 11:30 but I never fall asleep before at least 1 because either I'm playing around on my laptop or watching TV. Last night I didn't fall asleep until 4:00am but I blame that on my damn sunburn.

Ack, that sucks. :( I usually stay up till at least 1 during the summer (during the school year I always go to bed at 11 and fall asleep by midnight at the latest because I'm so exhausted) just messing around on my computer. But even when I go to sleep at like 1 or 2, it still takes me far longer than I'd like to fall asleep.

i hope dan radcliffe was a better basketball player in your dream than he is an actor in real life.

two writers from wonderfalls came to northwestern (where i go to college) a few months ago. gretchen berg & aaron harberts. they graduated from here. and they came back for this panel with other alumns who are tv writers. they talked about the television industry, and i took like 5 pages of notes. it was pretty awesome.

i'm a little confused about that story. what was this a catholic school?
i'd like to think i'd have walked out if it'd happened at my high school, but i probably wouldn't have. i had no guts in high school. i barely have any even now. it's horrible though.

Heh, I don't know how good a player he was. I just remember looking and seeing how much shorter he was than everyone. I don't think I was actually paying much attention to the game.

Ooh, that sounds really cool. I would've loved to go to something like that.

I think I assumed when reading it that it was at a Catholic school, but I could be wrong. I say that I would walk out, but I guess I can't really know if I haven't been put in that situation. Still, I think that I would. Luckily, the school I go to isn't religious, and my teachers are all farily liberals, so I don't think that would ever happen.
