Yesterday was a football game, and we also had marching band pictures afterschool, so I just stayed there instead of going home. Forgot to record Reunion (The O.C. I have set for series recording, so it doesn't matter if I forget it's airing), so I guess I'll just try to find a torrent later. Or see if they're planning on reairing it anytime in the next week.
I can't remember if I mentioned this Wednesday or not, but we signed up for topics for our seminars in Euro, and the topic Seher and I signed up for puts us as the very first presentation, which is September 27. Yikes. A week from Tuesday. I'd actually almost prefer this to being very last, though, because last is like... I don't know, December or January? And I'd put it off so long and it'd always be in the back of my mind, and that's when schoolwork starts piling up, at the end of the semester, and yeah. And this way we get 10 bonus points and he'll be more lenient grading us.
We had a chemistry quiz today on the elements, and I'm pretty sure I got a 100. It was very simple.
Got the math quiz from Wednesday back yesterday, and I got a 11/12. It's a good score, but it pisses me off because the only reason I got a point off was because I read parallel instead of perpendicular, so that threw my entire equation off, even though I did the like... process right. Such a stupid mistake. I hate it when I do things like that. bleh.
We also got our summer reading quizzes back. I got a 10/10 on How the Irish Saved Civilization! Awesome! I knew I had done really well, and I kind of thought I had a chance at getting perfect, but I wasn't sure. Unfortunately, that's the only good news. I got a 7/10 and 6/10 on the other two (don't know which score is for what book), and added with my 2/5 on the ballads pop quiz, my grade is a 71. Actually, it's a B- on the grading scale for Honors English 3, so it's not as bad as it looks, but... bleh. It's not a good thing when you realize you need your upcoming essay to pull up your grade. =/
The football game last night was all right. Could've been better, but it was better than the week before, so that's really all we can ask. Today's practice was kind of depressing, though. I don't know. It was just clear that we're not working as hard as we should, and we're not getting to where we need to be. Mr. Austerman seems really stressed/frustrated. blah.
...nothing else to say, really. I guess now I'll attempt to catch up on my friends' list. I'm a bit afraid, though, seeing as after a normal school day plus marching band, it's like skip=120 to skip=160, so after missing a whole day plus school? eep. Then I'll watch The O.C. and post about it if I have anything to say.

Date: 2005-09-17 04:19 am (UTC)I know here, Reunion's second episode (1987) is on this Thursday, because
PresidentBush did a live address about helping the Katrina survivors or something, and it ran until 930 or so, so they just pushed that to next week.=D
