I keep injuring myself, and I don't know how. Yesterday I randomly twisted my knee, and this morning I woke up and the back of both of my knees was hurting. Still hurting now, actually. bah. I think I beat myself up when I'm sleeping, or something.

It was a decent episode, but nothing special. Not nearly as good as last week's, but I didn't hate it.

I was sad that there was going to be no Logan, but then he showed up in the end! And that scene just totally rocked. Any scene between Veronica and Logan is awesome. Snark=love.

Did Veronica and Duncan have sex again? I know she stayed over, but she said she failed in seducing men twice that night, so I kind of assumed they didn't. I'm only wondering because... I don't know. Both times afterwards they didn't seem very... close, I guess? Like after the first time, they cuddled, but then Duncan turned on the TV instead of taking Veronica up on having sex for a second time. Then, this time, it's either like... they had sex and afterwards Duncan was sleeping on the other side of the bed while Veronica was doing whatever she was doing on the computer, or they didn't have sex and... they're two teenagers who are supposedly in love or whatever and whose hormones should definitely be raging. It's just... eh. I don't mind Veronica and Duncan, I really don't, but they just don't seem very into each other. It's like... I don't know. I'm not sure what I'm saying is making any sense.

Also, I realized why I really don't mind Veronica and Duncan being together: because there's no part of me that believes they're going to last the entire season. I mean, it seems obvious that they're making the point that they aren't that crazy for each other and they are just trying to go back and relive the past, which they can't (kind of reminds me in The Great Gatsby, where Nick's all "You can't go back to the past" or something along the same lines, and Gatsby's all, incredulously, "What are you talking about? Of course you can!"). And I remember saying last like August that I actually would feel more comforted with the season starting with them than Veronica/Logan, because... Veronica/Duncan has to be addressed. Their relationship got no closure, and the reason that Duncan broke up with her in the first place has now been elimated, seeing that they know that they're not related, and so it just didn't make sense for them not to try it out again. It just feels inevitable that they're going to realize it's not working and that they don't mesh anymore, and they'll break up.

But whatever. Back to the episode. Huge yay to the continuity of Lizzie. I remember when watching the episodes on DVD this weekend being all "OH HEY! MEG HAS A SISTER!" And yay, she's back! Not that I really loved her, I'm just glad about the continuity. Also, Wallace has a brother! More continuity! And Mars Investigations was back! Now all they need to do is bring back Backup, and I'll be happy. Well, that, and Veronica and Logan need to have lots of hot sex.

The whole the guy stalking Alicia is Wallace's "dead" father thing was entirely predictable. I mean, it was either that or Alicia was a criminal and running from the law or whatever (because we did see he was some sort of police officer or whatever last week), and... yeah. The former seemed more likely. I loved the scene between him and Keith, though. I didn't even get "The next time I shoot you, it won’t be digitally. Unless I hit you in the finger, then we’ll have a big laugh about it," line until a few seconds after, but then I totally started cracking up.

Also, the Lamb/Keith scenes were awesome. I hate Lamb, but in a good way. Like, he's supposed to be evil and bad and stuff, and I totally love him for it.

Jackie still bugs me. And it just seems inevitable that Veronica will be right about her and she'll be going out with other guys in addition to Wallace and then he'll find out and get hurt, or Veronica will find out and tell him and he won't believe her and they'll get into a fight and blah blah blah. I really, really hope I'm wrong about that, though, because they've used that on every show in the history of ever and it's just really, really old right now. Also, couldn't we have substituted the Jackie scenes for something involving Dick and Beaver? I would've much preferred scenes involving them.

The mystery of the week was kind of annoying, too. I liked Julie's boyfriend, though. But she was just way too over-the-top, and the parallels to Veronica/Duncan were a bit anvilicious.

I liked them bringing back the earring as being Weevil's. I do remember it looking like the one he was wearing in the Pilot.

Next week looks like it'll be good.

Still haven't watched last week's Lost, so I obviously didn't see this week's. I'll catch up... eventually. Maybe Saturday?

Heh, I have no idea. I just start walking and all of a sudden parts of me start hurting. It's odd.
