Nov. 29th, 2005 10:09 pmWe watched more of Sense and Sensibility today in English, and there was Hugh Laurie! I knew he was in it because his name was in the opening credits, but it was still awesome to see him (since his character didn't come in until later in the movie, so I didn't see him yesterday). He plays such an awesome character, too. So totally House, just without the American accent (and he looks a lot younger, too).
Today was really good. I don't know, it just ended up being really amusing and all around good. We were going to see Corpse Bride at Woodbridge theaters between the end of school and Symphony, but then it turned out that Mrs. Bentley set the start of rehearsal for 5, so we wouldn't have enough time. Maybe we'll try again next week.
Anyways.
!! "I'm gay. Oh, that's not what you meant. Though, it does explain a lot. No girlfriend. Always with Wilson." !!!! ;lkajsdflkj oh writers of House, how I love you. I know it's entirely unlikely they'll ever put House and Wilson together, but this is good enough for me. House/Wilson = <3
"Guess I'm his best friend now" was another awesome line. Wilson is awesome.
Can Stacy be gone already? She's seriously overstayed her welcome.
The timeline of this is kind of confusing me, but I've decided just to not think about and live in ignorance of how screwed up it could possibly be.
In any case, it was a pretty good episode. It really wrapped up the Chase's dad storyline well, and even though I feel kind of bad in saying it, I like that a patient of theirs died. I mean, when's the last time that happened? How likely is it that they're able to cure every single patient they get? Makes it more realistic, at least in my eyes.
So I was just looking on imdb.com, and Hugh Laurie was in Spice World! This amuses me to no end.

Date: 2005-12-05 06:19 am (UTC)I don't think you sound terrible, because I feel the same way. It just really isn't realistic that they'd be able to save every single person, and I think it would make it more like... uncertain in each episode, because you wouldn't be sure if the patient would survive or not (unlike now, when pretty much everyone does).
