brokenrecordWent to bed with a really bad headache last night and when I woke up, it was still there. And then I had to go to my tenor sax lesson which I normally hate enough as it is, so my headache wasn't exactly making it any better. It's all right now, though, but bleh. Crappy morning.
Managed to listen to the Motion City Soundtrack CD in its entirety, and I really like it. Also listened to about half of the Garbage CD. So, only 2 1/2 CDs left to listen to!
Guh. The angst, the angst!
Well, first off, I love Emmett. That must always be said. He's awesome.
With the Michael/Ben/Hunter situtation, I feel so horrible for Ben. I wanted to smack Michael. I know he meant well, that he thought getting Ben out of the house would get his mind off Hunter, but he came across as really insensitive (at least at the beginning of their conversation). I really hope Hunter comes back, safe and sound, soon. Safe and sound failing, I hope he just comes back.
It was clear where the Lindsay and her parents storyline was heading from the start, but I still felt bad for her. She and Melanie just need to work things out, though. I prefer them when they're together, and everyone knows that they're going to get back together by the end of the series. I'd just rather it not be dragged out through the remaining 7 (I believe it's 7) episodes.
And then Brian/Justin. guh. I knew it was coming, but still. The terrible angst! sigh. Well, the angst isn't too terrible, since I know what's coming, but still. It's a bitch to go through. I feel almost worse for Brian, just because it's clear how much pain he's feeling because of it, but he's just too stubborn to admit it. And the goodbye hug! I was afraid Brian wasn't going to hug him back, but then his arms slowly came around, and awwwww. They may all think that Brian can't change, but it's clear that he's changed in a huge way since the pilot. Radically different goodbye than the one in the season 2 finale. Even if he felt the same way, this time he's actually showing some of his emotions. sigh. Poor Brian.
The Brian/Michael scene was just awful. Um, in a good way. The scene was wonderful, it was just... painful to watch, because it was clear how much Brian was hurting. I can't wait until this angst is over.
Also, the guy that's supposed to be Brian's younger and hotter replacement, Brandon I believe? Totally not hotter than Brian. He doesn't even look any younger than him. Who would fuck him before Brian?
So. Yeah. Melanie and Lindsay need to get back together, Hunter needs to come back, and Brian and Justin need to get back together, like, now. God, I can't believe the season's half over already. It'll be sad having no more Queer as Folk to watch.
Anyways. I got the pictures back from the band beach party last week. Image-heavy. You have been warned.

And that's all for the pictures. I totally love the colors of them. I didn't even do that much touch up in photoshop, that's pretty much how they came out. So pretty. :D
In the time that it's taken me to type this post out, I've finished the Garbage CD and the Alkaline Trio CD (both of which ended up being very good, as the Weezer and Motion City Soundtrack CDs did) and have started listening to the Starting Line CD. I think I'll stop it now, though, and go back out and watch more Felicity. I still have more than half the season left.
