Sep. 25th, 2006 07:27 pmSo I wasn't going to watch the premiere of VM tonight because I have my first physics test tomorrow and I already have a bunch of TV shows to watch tonight. But then I realized there was no way I could study knowing the episode was out there, so I watched it instead. I'm starting this year off well.
eeeeee to the Veronica/Logan!!!!! :DDD I'm a little disappointed we missed what happened during the summer between them, but really I'm just happy that we didn't start the episode with them just having broken up. At least this way we can actually freaking see them in a relationship. Ah, the key!!! So freaking sweet. The scene on the bench and when they were in bed (!!!! VERONICA AND LOGAN HAD SEX!) were awesome and all, but my favorite was definitely when they were eating together and he gave her the key.
I think I might be the only one not too fond of the opening credits. The old ones might be a little too high school-y, I guess, but... I don't know. It's just what I associate the show with now, and it feels weird to change it. Maybe I'll feel differently when I watch them on the big screen.
Um, yeah. So I kind of loved this episode. It's not my favorite ever, but I really enjoyed it.
I guess my least favorite part was the whole Keith storyline, mostly because I'm still not entirely sure what happened there. I'm hoping when I watch it again when it actually premieres next Tuesday, it'll become clearer, because at this point... yeah. wtf?
I... kind of liked Piz. And didn't think the actor was terrible at all. (Please don't hate me!) I mean, I don't want him to get with Veronica or anything, but I kind of like him having a crush on her, and... I don't know. I just didn't think he was terrible.
I loved that scene between Logan and Dick at the end, with him hugging him and all. So sweet. What I didn't like was I sort of felt they might head in the direction of Mac/Dick. I'm hoping I'm just reading this totally wrong and I'm being influenced by the fact that it seems like there are a billion Mac/Dick fics going around, and that just because they had that scene together doesn't mean anything and I'm totally overreacting, but... I just really, really don't want that to happen. Dick is a really entertaining character, but he's nowhere near good enough for Mac. So, yeah. Please tell me I'm totally crazy and seeing things where there aren't any.
Logan commenting on Piz's argyle shirt was pretty much the best thing ever. I could not stop laughing at that.
I saw Parker getting raped, and I was pretty sure that guy who organized everything was involved in the Welcome Wagon thefts somehow, and usually I never realize what's going to happen before it happens with this show, so either I got really smart over the summer, or... it was pretty obvious. And I'm going with the latter. Not that it was bad or anything to figure it out, it just was kind of strange for me, because usually I'm just totally clueless.
Um, I guess that's all I had to say. But yes, I really enjoyed the episode, and I'm really optimistic for this season. Yay VM!
Ok, maybe I should try to get some studying accomplished in the 20 min I have before Prison Break begins.
