Ok, so this is going to be an entirely unpopular opinion, but here I go anyways: I'm not that upset that Lamb was killed off. I just... I never got the Lamb love. I love Michael Muhney, I think he's totally great and he's so good to the fans, but... it just seems like to me a lot people transfer their love for the actor onto the character. And if you really, truly love the character, then fine, I mean, that's your opinion. But I think Lamb's an asshole, I mean, he's always been an asshole. Everytime I see someone say "OMG I LOVE LAMB" I can't help but remember the pilot, and how he acted when Veronica came in to report her rape. And I just don't understand how some people are now going "OMG VM is now dead to me, I'm no longer going to watch the show!" or "Lamb was the only good thing left about the show!" Because, really? He's not on the show that much as it is, and whenever he's on it's only for someone to make a Lamb-is-stupid joke, or to contrast how inept he is with how awesome Veronica and Keith are at solving mysteries.

I don't know, he's kind of like Dick to me. A lot of people love Dick, and I think the actor is great, and sure, Dick can be interesting, but if he was written off the show, it would make no difference to me. He's still the guy that encouraged his little brother to rape Veronica. And, you know, he's a complete dick.

I don't know, I think I need to just stay away from VM fandom, because I rarely ever agree with anything anyone else thinks.

Time for another opinion that's probably going to be very unpopular: I watched the end of the pilot of The Black Donnellys that's up at yahoo and I don't hate the new song. I mean, of course The Arcade Fire song works better and I'd much rather have that song, but... it's just not an option, and I don't mind the new song. The climax of the song matches up well with the action on screen, in my opinion. I think a lot of people don't like it because Snow Patrol is overused (and I think maybe I heard even this exact song was on Grey's Anatomy? But I could be wrong because I don't watch that show) but none of the shows I watch have been using Snow Patrol, so... that doesn't bother me either. I don't know. I'm not about to download the song and listen to it 50 times a day like with The Arcade Fire song, but I don't think the song is going to ruin the end for me either. What's going on is powerful enough that it doesn't need a song to make it awesome; it already is.

So, there you go. Two probably incredibly unpopular opinions. Feel free to hate me forever and yell at me and such now.

(I think I'm in a bitchy mood tonight. It's been a long day.)

Yeah, I started getting a feeling at the end of the episode when he was in the house that he was going to die, and I was slightly surprised, but it wasn't actually a huge shock. There really haven't gone anywhere with the character. They've attempted to, in that early season 2 episode with Meg's abused little sister, but it never went anywhere. I remember thinking earlier in this episode where Keith was offering to come or to help or something and Lamb made some stupid comment that, hey, Keith was right about Abel Koontz not being the murderer and that Jake Kane covered up Lilly's murder, and about the E-string strangler, and plenty of other things I can't remember right now. Yet he still doesn't listen to him! You'd think by now he'd learn that maybe Keith is actually good at what he does.

I like Keith being sheriff on one hand, but on the other hand, I'll be really sad if this means the end of Mars Investigations.
