Happy 4th of July to everyone!

Went to see An Inconvenient Truth with my parents today. Who knew Al Gore could actually be interesting, let alone funny? The concept of the movie doesn't seem like it'd be very entertaining, but I really liked it. I thought it was very well-done.

I've gotten about a little more than half-way through the first season of Sports Night, and I'm really loving it. It's pretty funny (although I could do without the laughtrack. I've heard it's kind of phased out, but I remember reading that like a year ago so I could be mixing it up with some other show), but what I really love about it is all the... emotion, I guess. It's kind of why I like The Office. It's pretty funny during the first season, but what really drew me in was the relationship between Jim and Pam and all the more dramatic elements of the show. I don't know. I'm just really enjoying the show so far and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.

Anyways, so it's July. I live in Southern CA. And my air conditioner decided that Sunday was the best possible time for it to break. ugh. Also? No one can come in to look at it until Thursday. And the only windows in my room are very tiny and don't get a good breeze in here and my room is already the hottest (or coldest in December/January) room in the house, besides the garage. sigh. I almost wish I had summer school today, just because the rooms have air conditioning blasting at like 60 degrees.

I really want to see An Inconvenient Truth. I dont know why, I just have this urge to lol. I think it comes out here in September -_-

Ugh, my room is the hottest in summer. And I have this 'fan' or something. It does nothing. NOTHING.

Aw, that sucks. I was vaguely interested in it before I saw it, but I actually liked it a lot more than I thought it would. I'd definitely suggest seeing it when it comes out where you are.

Ah yeah, I know how you feel. That really sucks. Luckily yesterday my mom let me take one of her fans into my room and it did kind of help, but I still missed the air conditioning.

On the air-con front, I live in Manila, so it's just as bad/worse. I thought it broke yesterday, but it got better. Around March it broke, then got fixed and two weeks later it broke again and I had to sleep on the cushions in the floor at my parent's room. Erlack.

Ack, that sounds awful. Luckily my air conditioner usually works pretty well so I don't have these problems very often, but it really sucks when it does stop working.

We haven't used our AC/heater in years.

Be strong. Like steel.

Metals are good conductors of heat, right? Wouldn't that just make me super hot?

How about, like, plastic? I could be plastic. (Except I don't know how strong plastic is. Not as strong as steel, I would imagine.)

Well, we can't have that.

What about diamonds?

I really need to see an Inconvenient Truth it seems like it would be good and I heard it has clips from Futurama which I found out that Al Gore's daughter was a writer for. lol

OMG how are you living without AC! We have had it on constantly! It is so hot and humid, ugh!

An Inconvenient Truth is really great, so I'd definitely suggest seeing it. I wasn't that interested in it before I saw it, but I really enjoyed it.

I know, it's terrible. Hopefully it'll be working again soon.

YEEEE! Sports Night is one of my FAVORITE SHOWS. I'm so glad you're enjoying it. It only gets better. :D

Ew. I'm so sorry about your AC. That majorly sucks. Ours upstairs isn't really good for much because it's been like, ninety-five degrees for the past three days, so it gets hot up here anyway. :/ Urgh. I hope you don't melt, sweetie!

It is really awesome. I'm now up to episode 8 of the second season and I'm loving it. I'm just sad that I only have 14 episodes left!

Aw, that really sucks. :( Luckily my mom looked at the air conditioning today and realized she could fix it and did, so I'm no longer melting (I only wish she had looked on Sunday!).
