wtf I want my car back! 2-3 weeks ago when I first took it in they said it would be ready on the 5th, which was last Thursday. My mom told me it'd be like 3-4 weeks, so I was really happy with that, since it was sooner than I expected. But then Thursday they were like "We're almost done, we just got to do this thing, and you can have it Friday." Friday it wasn't done, but they said definitely Saturday. Saturday, still not done, but Monday! Monday it was almost finished, and on Tuesday they'd deliver it themselves to my house. Well, it's Tuesday, and now they're saying it'll be for sure done tomorrow. For some reason, I don't believe them. I mean, I'd be fine with if it they'd just told me in the first place it'd be like three weeks because I wasn't expecting it to be done so soon. And it doesn't even seem like they underestimated the time it would take, because each day they keep saying it'll be done the next day. It just makes me think they're saying it'll be done the next day to placate me when they know it really won't be done for like another week. The thing is, I'd rather they just tell me the truth about when it'll be done then lie to me.

Anyways. Hello to new friends from the fall friending meme! Just to let you (and the rest of my friends list who doesn't already know), I suck at checking my flist on Mondays and Tuesdays because Mondays I get home at 5:15, have until 8 to finish homework (and Mondays I usually have the most amount of homework), watch TV from 8-11, then sleep at 11 so I'm not dead at school the next day, and Tuesdays I don't get home till 8 because of Symphony, and then I watch TV till 10 and that usually doesn't give me enough time to do anything online. But I'll catch up on everything tomorrow afternoon.

Now for TV stuff! Some of this probably doesn't need to go behind a cut, and I don't think I have a lot to say about anything, but here we go anyways:

I'm kind of really warming up to this show. When I first saw the pilot during the summer, I thought it took itself way too seriously. And it still does, kind of, but I think it's lightened up just a bit from the pilot. And Hiro is totally the best character ever. So freaking adorable, and just awesome. And I'm liking his friend that believes him now, too. So yeah, glad I decided to stick with this show.

I think overall I liked this episode more than previous ones. The only thing is, I didn't like the ending, how it was like "No wait, that guy we stole it from didn't write it, so we have to credit him! Oh wait, he was on our staff and it's all fine! Woot!" I kind of the enjoyed the idea that it was stolen, and there would be ramifications from that, but then all of a sudden it was perfectly fine. eh. But everything else was good.

Oh, and I really didn't like the idea of Harriet and Matt before this episode, but I think I'm warming up to them now, which is good I think, because it seems like they're going to be focusing the show a lot on the relationship (or lack of relationship) between them.

blah hate Christopher. I think it's pretty obvious that they're going to have Lorelai try things with Christopher, and I'm kind of... torn about it. Because on one hand, I hate Christopher and love Luke and Lorelai, so... I don't want to have to see that. But on the other hand, I think Lorelai needs to finally try dating Christopher rather than just sleeping with him and thinking things will start up again only to have it not happen like the next day, because that's happened way too often. I'm really hoping that she'll think things are good at first, but as the relationship progresses she'll realize that Christopher's not who she's really in love with, she still loves Luke, and she can't go back and recreate this relationship with Christopher because she's not 15 anymore. (Of course, I was also hoping they'd follow this exact same route with Veronica and Duncan last season on Veronica Mars, and look how that turned out.)

Overall, though, I'm liking this season more than the past few ones. I think you can notice a change from the like... classic Gilmore Girls due to the change in showrunners, but... I don't know. I'm just enjoying this season a lot more than I enjoyed the last few.

Ah, I really enjoyed this episode. So far I feel like the start of this season has been a great improvement over the start of season 2 (with the exception of the Keith storyline, because I still don't know what the hell is going on. They're going to explain everything, right? Because... yeah. wtf?)

The guest-stars this week were crazy! Samm Levine, Rider Strong (Shawn from Boy Meets World! You have no idea how much I used to love that show. I still do, really), the girl who's name I don't know but was on Jack and Bobby and also in that crappy ABC Family movie with Teddy Dunn and Christy Carlson Romano. Oh oh, and the professor (of sociology? Or was it ethics?), I swear to god I recognize him from somewhere. Was he the doctor from Arrested Development who was played by the guy who plays Homer Simpson? (I don't watch the Simpsons anymore so I associate him more with AD for some reason.)

Parker getting all mad at Veronica was sad, as was Keith crying and telling Veronica he had done something terrible, or made a huge mistake, or whatever it was.

I kind of like it when Veronica... gets proven wrong, I guess? I don't really know how to put it. But how she thought sorority=bad and newspaper=good and in the end she felt guilty for reporting about everything because... the marijuana was for medical purposes, and there were actually decent people in the sorority, and all. Oh, but the library at the end was so freaking pretty (at least on my TV), so I'm happy that she'll be working there.

Logan streaking! hee. I liked Logan and Wallace's plotline. I like when they actually interact, because they really don't do that much, and it makes sense that they would now.

Anyways, yeah. I liked this episode a lot.

blah. I still have French homework to finish. Off to do that now.

Although I like Lorelai and Christopher together on Gilmore Girls, I think it's probably going to end up happening like you said - they'll try to date but it won't work out and Lorelai will ultimately end up with Luke. :)

That's the way it looks like it'll go to me, but you never know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

oh we agree so much about tv this week.

i was totally thinking about the veronica/duncan thing in regard to lorelai/christopher, too. but the problem i have with that is that veronica is a teenager; she's supposed to still be figuring herself out. lorelai is almost 40. you'd think she should know by now who she is and is not in love with. but i'll just have to grit my teeth and bear it.

I WAS SO DISTRACTED BY ALL THE GUEST STARS ON VM. i didn't even know what they were talking about in the sociology class because i was so focused on the fact that freaking rider strong was sitting in the background. and the girl from jack & bobby was also in drive me crazy, which rob thomas wrote. and yeah, the professor was the voice of homer simpson.

i LOVE when veronica is wrong. like, actual character development! i still wish she had been wrong about troy back in "you think you know somebody."

and i'm totally with you on the car thing, by the way. that's just stupid.

Hee, that's awesome we agree so much.

Ah, I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that. And yeah, I agree that it works more for Veronica because she was a lot younger when she tried things again with Duncan, whereas Lorelai should've realized by now that Christopher isn't right for her.

I know! The guest stars were crazy! First it was just like "Oh, hey, that girl from Jack & Bobby!", and then it was like "...hey, isn't that the guy from AD who I think plays Homer Simpson?" and then all of a sudden Rider Strong, and then like seconds later I was hit with Samm Levine too! Too much to handle.

I know! And yeah, while I think the reveal of Troy having the car and the "drugs" and all riding off and then showing that Veronica figured it out is really cool, it would've been a lot better character-wise if she would've been wrong. For me, it's kind of like with House, how he's always right about every case, no matter how ridiculous his diagnosis seems, that by now I really want him to screw up because it'd be a lot more interesting them him just... always having the answer.

Yeah, the car was really irritating. Thankfully it finally was finished today and I have it back now, but still. They should've just told me it'd be done today in the first place.

Ah, that's cool. I love the language, but unfortunately my teacher is terrible, and this is like the third year I've had her, so AP French isn't very fun for me.
