Heh. Last night I had this dream where we had gotten a bunch more birds for some reason, but then my mom had just gotten them to sell them, for some reason, so these people came to the door and she gave three away but in addition to those three she also gave away Piper and Caitlin and I was really upset even though they're not my favorite birds and both hate me because she hadn't even asked me or told me about it.

And then somewhere along the line I had a dream about Rose and the new Doctor, but I don't know what happened. I only remember it because I saw some picture them once I woke up and was all "OMG I TOTALLY HAD A DREAM LAST NIGHT ABOUT THEM." I wish I knew what had happened. I like fandom dreams.

I went to the animal shelter for the first time in like 3 or 4 weeks, and I had this fear that they had like... deleted me from the system because I hadn't come in so long and I had like half the hours I should have by this point. So when I got there and put in what I thought was my pin number, 2074, and it said that it didn't exist, I got really freaked out and thought that they had deleted me. But then there was this binder of most everyone's numbers and I looked up me and it turned out my number was 20074, which worked just fine. blah. I knew I should've checked what my number was before I left my house.

Anyways at 2 I went to Emma's and then Emma, Soan, and I went to Build-a-Bear in Fashion Island and I built a cow with cowboy boots and a denim overall-skirt thing named Darcy (I'm not entirely obsessed! It was because Soan said that hers looked like Bingley because it was smiling and I was all "Ah! Mine is Darcy!" and then I couldn't think of anything else to name her, so she ended up being Darcy). And then we went back to Emma's and played with them for a little and then watched Four Weddings and a Funeral which wasn't very good, but it was ok because it had Hugh Grant, and watching things with Emma and Soan makes things more interesting anyways.

Also, I got fudge which Emma and Soan made and is very delicious.

Hate Superbowl Sunday. I don't know why it always has to be at our house. If it wasn't at ours, then I could claim I have way too much homework (which may be true, I'm not entirely sure) and just stay home. I'm not sure what I'm doing tomorrow, but I'm hoping it is lots of not going out of my room in the house and spending lots of time not in the house. Except I'm afraid that if I leave and then they arrive, they'll steal my parking space and other people will have people over and I'll half to park like a mile from my house. blah.

I finished both Bridget Jones books last night. I liked them both a lot, more than the movies (why couldn't the whole bit with Mark's line "It's all right. I realize I'm here. I don't think it's the sort of thing we should be keeping from each other," be put in the movie? I couldn't stop giggling over that line. And there were many others like that that I had wished had made it into the movie). And yeah, the second movie is nearly nothing like the book. But there are some things about the movies that I like more than the books. Anyways, I'm glad I bought the books.

I also watched Love Actually with the commentary on. hee. I love Hugh Grant just constantly bashing Colin Firth. They need to do a movie together (preferably involving many scenes with them fighting each other) and do a commentary on the movie together, because that would be excellent.

All Southern auditions tomorrow. I don't know how likely it is I'll make it, but oh well. Nothing more I can do than make sure all my scales are memorized.

School starts up again on Monday, and then I have two weeks and then it's finals. Eck. I wish my school was more like other schools and had finals right before winter break. It's such a hassle to be learning all this stuff, then take two weeks off, and then have to remember everything you learned before break in addition to learning bunch a new stuff for two weeks and then have to study your ass off. Especially since my grades are so borderline this year (well, ok, half my grades are. But I don't want half my grades to be B's), so I really need to ace some of my finals. I miss freshman year. sigh.

Happy New Years to everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful New Years Eve and have a wonderful year. :) I spent last night at Emma's house. Soan was there at the beginning and we all watched the second Bridget Jones Diary movie and I haven't seen the first, but I really enjoyed the second anyways. And Hugh Grant and Colin Firth! This just amuses me incredibly because of seeing Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice and Hugh Grant in Sense and Sensibility, although I'm not sure why it amuses me as much as it does. And now I desperately want to see the first because I hear it's better and I was also promised by Emma and Soan that the first one has a much better fight scene. So yes. I think I might go to Blockbuster and rent it today along with Love Actually, which I've been meaning to rent for like a month now.

Anyways, after that Soan had to go soon so we saw Nightmare Before Christmas because it was shorter and she left and then Emma and I saw the BBC Pride and Prejudice. We started it about 2 hours in because we both had seen the beginning and we stopped it for when it became midnight and then actually managed to finish it and somewhere along the night I became incredibly obsessed with Colin Firth (as opposed to just really, really liking him, and I'm not exactly sure how that happened but it did) and now need to see more movies with him in it. And then we began to watch some of Monty Python but we were tired of watching movies so Emma got out one of the things she's giving me for my birthday and we somehow managed to play with it for 2 hours and I'm not sure how that happened but by then it was 4 and we went to sleep. And yeah, tired now, which I think you can probably tell from how many run-on sentences exist in this post.

So yeah. In any case, it was a fun night. And now I need to get lunch and possibly go to Blockbuster if I can ever find my Blockbuster card. I'll catch up on comments eventually. And I should also practice for All Southern considering the audition is Saturday and the last time I played bass clarinet was 2 months ago. I'm not sure that this audition is going to go very well. We'll see.
