I have my iPod! I didn't think it'd come till next Wednesday, at the earliest, but it's here! :D I also got my expansion pack for the Sims 2.

Last night was pretty fun. I went to Emma's house with Soan and did pretty much nothing for 4 hours. We were going to watch a movie but they didn't have anything we wanted at Blockbuster and when we finally chose something it had taken like an hour and at that point no one really wanted to watch anything anyways.

I also found the most ridiculous version of Pride and Prejudice on TV last night. It involved an inexplicably hispanic Jane; a cast that was entirely American and lived in Utah except, of course, Darcy, who was British; and Jane telling Elizabeth that she and Bingley spent the first night they met each other discussing dolphins. I mean, ok, it was terrible. But come on. It was so terrible it was hilarious. Just... dolphins! And Lydia ordering Kitty to take out this book (the Pink Bible) and read this page and Kitty taking it out and, while wearing sunglasses, complaining "It's too dark!" and Lydia tearing the sunglasses off her face and then Kitty saying "Oh!" all perkily, and I didn't do justice to the hilarity of that moment, but it was excellent. Plus, the Darcy was far better than the Darcy from Bride and Prejudice (of course, can't match Colin Firth, or even Matthew MacFadyen, but still excellent).

After going to the animal shelter and then Barnes and Noble to spend $70 on SAT books, Galaxy came over to work on the French project. Which basically consisted of me playing with my iPod and us deciding who would do what and then her leaving 4 hours later. We work well together.

Dude, I love the Wicked soundtrack so much. mm, I love musicals. And now I also found that they have an original cast soundtrack of Urinetown on Amazon.com, and ah. I so have the urge to get it. I think I'll wait a little, though.

Actually scratch the whole "I think I'll wait..." part, because I totally just checked and they have it on Target.com, and I still have that $20 gift certificate to Target Zi got me for my birthday, and it's only $17.98 with shipping and handling and all that... so, yeah. No willpower.

Anyways. iPod situation resolved! My dad may have ended up getting it for me if I had patience and such, but last night I was arguing with my mother about it (well it didn't start out as an argument, but she wasn't listening to anything I was saying and before I knew it I was really angry) and I was just getting so frustrated and then she left to go to this meeting and I am so freaking obsessive and once I get something into my head I can't get it out and I just had to figure something out and so I checked things out and decided that I could buy the $289.99 iPod video and I'd have $21 and change left which would be enough to get me buy on gas for a month and a half (since I just refilled my tank like Tuesday) and then it would be Easter and my parents could add some more money because it's a holiday and part of our argument before that was that my parents won't just get me things for whenever I want, but for holidays and my birthday and such. So, yeah. And I also asked my mom and she said I can add money onto my visabuxx card, and I have like $90 so I could add that and use it for gas. So, everything's solved.

Of course then when my dad came home my mom told him and he was all "You didn't get it already, did you?" and I was all "...yeah?" and he was all "But I said I'd get it for you!" And I pointed out that he never really said yes, but he claimed he did, but I said I was impatient anyways, and in any case I could cancel the order or he could just add $289.99 back onto my visabuxx card. And anyways he said that this ends up being less work for him. So, yeah.

Lastly, please do this?

Anyways, now I get to study for a 6 chapter Euro test. Joy.

So, I think my father said yes about me getting a new iPod? It wasn't ever explicitely stated, but I think it was implied. We kept going around in circles with our conversation. He'd be all "I'm not getting you one tonight" and I'd be all "...I'm not asking for one now. I just want to know if I will be able to get one sometime." and he'd be all "The silver one should be enough for right now" and I'd be all "...yes. But. In the future." and he'd be all "Sometime" and I'd be all "...but do you have any idea of when?" and then he'd be all "I'm not getting you one tonight" and it'd continue like that over and over again. sigh.

Anyways. Today I had my junior counseling. I ramble on too long about something no one cares about. )

Um, lastly. Something. Oh yeah! I got my Wicked soundtrack today! I haven't listened to it yet since I just got home and am burning it to my computer now, but I will.

So, uh. Today was interesting. This morning I was running late and in a hurry, so I wasn't paying attention to things as closely as I normally do. And I have this thing that hooks into my cigarette lighter in my car and attaches to my iPod so it plays over the radio. And when I opened the car door, it moved and I didn't see where but I was too much in a hurry to deal with it. Anyways so I left my house and the car sounded... weird. Like I could hear the air outside. So I looked on my dashboard and sure enough the passenger door was open. My car doesn't start beeping when a car door is open, unlike my mom's car, which is what I'm used to, so yeah. I don't think I can be fully blamed for not knowing it was open. Anyways, it was open because I had slammed the door on the ipod attached to the cord. But after pulling over to the side of the road and opening the door and shutting it fully, I found that my ipod was no longer attached to the cord. And I drove back up to my house (I hadn't been driving for even a full minute, I was just like 15 seconds down my street) and looked around but I couldn't find it anywhere. And also, did I mention that it had been raining? So yeah. And I was afraid of being late/not being able to find a parking space so I left, and yeah. My iPod is now gone. And I told my mom and she has no sympathy for me and says if I want a new one I have to ask my dad and blah, it's not fair, because my dad totally got a new iPod because he felt that his mini iPod didn't hold enough songs. Right now I'm actually able to use my dad's old one, but ugh. I want my own. And I'd like a full iPod rather than a mini, which is what I had. Oh well. I'll bug him later, and hopefully I'll get one. It'll be easier to get one from him than my mom because he spoils me so much more. asl;kfj ugh I'm so pissed at myself now. I really loved my iPod. :(

Finally finished Wicked (stopped reading it after the 4 day semester break when I went to San Francisco and started reading it again Sunday night). I actually really enjoyed it. Some parts kind of dragged on, but overall I really enjoyed it. Now I really want to see the musical. I've heard that it's very, very different from the book, but I'd still like to see it (especially since I've heard it's better than the book). I listened to like half of the tracks on amazon.com and I ordered the original broadway cast recording of it. So, hopefully I'll like it.

Um, I guess that's it.
