Um, so I guess there's this scavenger hunt thing being planned for bandos on Monday. I was considering going, but then realized that I think we have another SAT diagnostic test on Monday, and the scavenger hunt thing starts at like... 2:30 or 3:00 and ends at 5 or 5:30, and the test would start at 4:00 (meaning I'd have to leave by at least 3:45). So, guess I'm not going. I don't mind too much, though. I don't know if I would've gone even if I was free.

Pre-ordered the Veronica Mars season 1 DVD on the Barnes and Noble website. Now I just need to persuade my mom to buy Arrested Development Season 2 on the same day. Should be easy enough, as both my parents adore the show and really want to see the second season.

I told my mom about the concert Oct. 31, and she said yes the second she heard it was at Bren Events Center. Woohoo! I talked to her about possibly having a lesson conflict, and she said she was already thinking of having no lessons during marching band because... that's a bit much (which I bitched to her about all of last marching season, but of course she didn't listen then). So I may not have to have lessons for an entire two months. This is very, very good news. :D Lulu, I told my mom to get a third ticket for you, so... you better go, or find someone else to. >:O Or I suppose I'd have to find someone else to. Oh well. Maybe Annie could go if you couldn't.

They played "Mixed Tape" by Jack's Mannequin, the side project of Andrew McMahon (lead singer of Something Corporate) on Catch of the Day on KROQ earlier. Wheee, I like it. I can't wait till their CD comes out. And the new SoCo CD, for that matter.

Dude! Eee the concert, woosh! That'll be so freaking awesome. And if it doesn't start too early, I might still be able to get some trick-or-treating done. ..shut up, so what if I'm a junior and still want candy? And no lessons for two months sounds pretty awesome.

Aw. Sorry. :( Well, I won't hate you forever for using soulmates for B/A if you won't hate me forever for hating the use of soulmates. Really, though, the soulmates thing is a pointed reference to Dawson's Creek, in which Dawson and Joey went out for 2 months and then Joey dumped him, but from that moment on, they were labeled as soulmates, even though Pacey and Joey went out for over a year and truly loved each other and weren't manipulative of each other and ended the freaking series together. [sigh] Yes, it is a bit of a sore spot. I don't mind it as much in reference to B/A.

They do. That post has definitely convinced me of that.

Haha, good job. Eh, I'd have marching band that day, most likely, so I'll just go from marching band to the concert. I mean, even though it's close, there'll be a lot of people there. FOB is pretty popular these days. I would totally go trick-or-treating if it wasn't for the concert.

Seth/Summer to Dawson and someone? o__o Dawson and Joey, most likely, and, uh, no. No no no. I hate Dawson and Dawson/Joey with every fiber of my being. And while I didn't like Seth/Summer last season nearly as much as season 1, they're still miles ahead of Dawson and Joey. I mean, they've had a relationship longer than, like, 5 minutes. Seth would have a reason to be jealous if Ryan started dating Summer, unlike Dawson with Pacey. ugh.

You go to this site and then register for an account (using your username here but a different password than the one you use on LJ). Then it'll tell you to post this code in an entry in your LJ. You can just edit a really old post and put in the code (it's just this string of random letters and numbers to verify that you are who you say you are) and once it's verified that you're you, you can edit it out. Then you can just add all your dislikes there and once your done, it'll produce a code that you put in your info that has all the dislikes you put in. You have to edit your info everytime you add dislikes with a new code, but that's not too bad.

Heh, I know, I definitely want the VM DVD. I haven't been able to stop obsessing over it, even after the season ended. Can't wait for the DVD, or for the second season. :D

It definitely gets better as the season goes on. Episode 4 is one of my favorites, and so is episode 10. I saw episodes 1-10 in one go, since I decided to check it out after the season had already started and downloaded the aired episodes, and I was fully hooked after episode 10.

Ooh, that's awesome. I think episode 3 is a pretty good episode as well. And I love episode 4 for all the flashbacks. The mystery of the week is kind of weak, plot-wise, but the flashbacks and Veronica/Logan interaction is awesome. Episode 10, as I said, is also really awesome, as is episode 12 and 15. And pretty much... everything from episode 18 to the season finale. They start to get really good by the end of the season (at least, in my opinion).

They say it's not serious, but still.

Yeah, I did hear that a couple months ago, and that the type he has is usually fully treatable and that he should be able to recover fully. Even though it's not serious, it's still pretty scary, though.

I read in the new issue of Alternative Press yesterday that they were either recording or writing for the new CD this summer, and the new CD was scheduled to come out late this year (though that was just kind of a rough estimate, it could easily be pushed back) which is why that I mentioned I can't wait for it. I know that it'll probably be awhile before it comes out, I'm just looking forward to it. :)
