Apparently the WB is coming back in some form on-line? Kind of weird, but if it means there's somewhere I can watch Everwood, then that's awesome (especially since only season 1 of Everwood is on DVD, and it's unlikely the other seasons will go on DVD anytime soon).

Anyways, I have nothing really to say, since I have two tests this week (including an essay test. Ugh, I hate in-class essays so much. The last one went better than I expected, but I'm still dreading this one) and several other assignments, so I'm probably going to be doing a lot of memes or really short posts. Speaking of memes:

Heh, this weekend was very productive. Saturday I went to Emma's house along with a bunch of people and grilled burgers and just hung out and played lots of cards until like midnight (actually, I left at like midnight because my mom wanted me home, but they were still going on with it then). The rest of the weekend I spent watching my season 1 Everwood DVDs. I didn't think I would get through them, but I did. Season 1 is so freaking good, and it made me really wish the season 2 and 3 DVDs would come out (which, btw, I've heard is very unlikely at this point and there are no plans for them to be released).

Today was section leader tryouts. eh. I think I did better at drum major tryouts (although I think maybe my answers to questions were better this time, but questions aren't as important). Oh well. Even if I had done amazingly I don't think I'd get it. [shrug] Won't know until Friday for sure, though.

Ugh this morning when I was putting my car keys back in my pocket, I cut my finger on one of my house keys. I didn't realize it was so sharp! Bleh.

wheee, Everwood series finale tonight. I'm both excited for it and dreading it at the same time. sigh. Hopefully it's amazing.

Today were auditions for drum major. I actually did a lot better than I thought I would, which is good. Andrew got drum major and Jackie got assistant, so yay for that. I guess that means that Emma will more likely than not get sax section leader, but I guess that's ok with me. I mean, I'd rather I get it, obviously, but I think it'll be pretty fun next year with Emma as a section leader.

SAT II scores were posted Wednesday, and I got an 800 for Math IIC and a 700 for French. Ah, excellent. I'm so done with SATs now. I'm not taking anymore ever again.

I got my Everwood DVDs yesterday and watched the first and second episodes. Ah, they look so young! Ah, man, such a great show. I was planning on watching the entire first season before the finale, but I don't think I'll have the time. So I guess I'll just watch episodes when I can, kind of like how I did with the Charmed Season 2 and Season 3 DVDs I got for my birthday in January (that I didn't end up finishing until 2 days ago).

Anyways. There's so much going on, but I don't really have anything else to say. Two weeks of school, one week of finals, and then I'm done with junior year. Excellent

I think it finally sunk in that Everwood's cancelled after the episode last night. I thought it was a great episode and it just reminded me of season 1 and how much I loved it then and how much I still love it and how upset I am that it's going. Right after the episode was over, I went on BarnesandNoble.com and ordered the season 1 DVDs because I was getting all nostalgic and I haven't seen season 1 in forever and I love it so much. This show is too freaking good to be cancelled. gah. It's not fair.

Anyways. Today after school but before Symphony, Emma, Jackie, Galaxy, and I decided to go to the beach again. We didn't go to Corona Del Mar like Sunday since parking would be a bitch, so we went to Crystal Cove instead. Ah, so pretty. ( Pictures! Not as many as before, but still a good amount. )

Today we also had our last essay ever this year. Such a relief to be done. No more essays unti like September! I don't think I did too badly, so hopefully this essay won't ruin the A- I'm barely hanging on to. Mrs. Moore also finally returned from her maternity leave today, thankfully. So awesome to have her back.

Tomorrow is probably not much fun (but then, this whole week is not much fun). 1st period I finally present that film project with Seher (gah I better get an A+++++ for all the stress this project has caused me), after school is jazz band with the composer of a couple of the pieces we're playing, Jeff Jarvis, which in itself isn't bad, but it is bad that that means I won't get home until 4:45ish and at like... 7:00 or something is freshman, sophomore, and junior awards and I have to dress up and attend that. blah. Too busy.

Am I the only one who hates Andy/Nina and ships Jake/Nina on Everwood? Please tell me I'm not alone. Because I get the appeal of Andy/Nina, I really do. But I just haven't been able to forgive Andy for what an ass he was in season 3, and I've just loved Jake and Nina together so much more since then. And yeah, they're together now, but man are they gearing for an Andy/Nina ending. I mean, I'm completely unspoiled (so don't get angry if you think I've spoiled you, because I haven't, this is all just speculation on my part), but it just seems obvious that this is where they're heading. And it's pissing me off so much, because I really just don't want them to be together. I don't feel like Andy deserves her, and I've loved how Jake was really there for her in season 3, and yeah, he has had his problems this season, but I still feel like he's much better for Nina than Andy.

And I've been sitting here, trying to read some Veronica Mars fic, but I can't, because I can't stop thinking about this. I just feel so angry. So I was trying to go back to think like "Well, it's ok. What about this show where your favorite ship didn't end up together?" But then... I couldn't think of a single one. Seriously. I mean, ok, there are a few. Or, like, one. But for all the other shows, either the ship I loved ended up together; while they weren't together really, they either went further than I thought they would (George Michael/Maeby) or there was hope for the future (Brian/Justin); I didn't ship anyone; or even though they didn't end up together, they also didn't end up with anyone else. I think if it does end up Nina/Andy, it'll be the first time where they'll actually end it with a ship I've kind of come to really dislike, and since I've been so used to getting my way, this is just pissing me off more than it should.

I don't know. It just disappoints me. I'm really sad that Everwood's been cancelled, so I just want at the very least for them to give me the ending I want. And I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority. Just about everyone else I've seen ships Nina and Andy (which, btw, if you are someone who does, please don't take offense at any of this).

sigh. Just a TV show. Just a TV show.

I think I get way too obsessed with these sorts of things.

(I don't have any Everwood icons! This is clearly a grave mistake that must be eradicated immediately. Or, you know, whenever I get around to it.)

So, I didn't end up going to the football game. I got to the school at like 5:15 and the call time was 5:30, and I started to feel sick. I've been feeling sick on and off all week, and I just really didn't see myself going through a whole show and playing in the stands and so on. I stood around for awhile trying to decide if I should ask my mom if I could go home or not, and I ended up getting more time than I should've, because the buses were supposed to be at the school at 5:30, and by 6:00, they still weren't there. Finally around 6:00 I told my mom I wasn't feeling well and so we went home. I took a nap for like an hour and I felt loads better. I'm kind of tired now, but I don't feel as sick as I did before, which is good. Not planning on skipping school tomorrow, unless I start vomiting or something. I may not have even missed anything, though, because they might not have even gone to the football game because of the buses that failed to show up.

So, during sectionals today at Office Hours, I realized that I left my neck strap at home. uh. Not good. I'm not doing very well at preparing for music-related things. The chair test went all right. Emma thinks it's going to be me first, Emma second, and Sado third, but I don't know. I think Emma could've beaten me. And Sado messed up more, but his instrument wasn't working right, and he had a really nice sound, anyways. So, I don't know. We'll see. It's not like it matters very much.

Football game tonight, but I signed up to leave early, since I have a lot of things to study for and a good amount of homework.

SERENITY IN ONE DAY! And wheee, Lulu can go! Awesome. :D

Everwood is premiering tonight, but unfortunately I won't be able to see it because of the game. Probably won't be able to see any Thursday night TV until Friday night or Saturday night. bah.
