Yesterday was good. I went to see our school musical, Miss Saigon, with some friends. I almost wasn't able to go because earlier in the week I had left my ticket on the floor of my room and... if you've seen the floor of my room, you'll know why this is a bad idea. I have just so many papers and SAT books and other books and old junk on my floor. And in between that time, the cleaning lady came, and when she comes, all she does is push all the stuff to the perimeter of my room and vacuum. So when I realized I had no idea what I had done with my ticket, I was like "...oh, crap." And I put every single thing on the floor on top of my bed (which was a lot of stuff) and still couldn't find it and was freaking out, but then I went through all the stuff on top of my bed a second time and finally found it, thank god.

Anyways, I'm glad I was able to go. Annie came! (She's one of my closest friends I know from middle school but goes to a different high school.) And the musical itself was pretty good, too. I think I liked Urinetown better (and definitely Wicked, but I'm like obsessed with that) because, I don't know, even though it wasn't a happy ending or anything, it mixed in a lot of humor, so it wasn't just completely depressing, which is what Miss Saigon was like. I mean, it was good, but I didn't come out of the theater with a really good mood.

After that, I took Galaxy and her friend who's in the pit orchestra for the musical to Starbucks, and then we went to the band bowling event thing that was going on from 11 PM to 2 AM. That was mostly fun. I'm such an excellent bowler. On my first game, I got a total of 38! (I think Andrew said he got 19 on one game, though, so he beats me.) The best part, though, was definitely when a couple of us got tired of bowling so I went outside with Emma, Jackie, and Andrew and we played a card game (which sounds kind of lame, but it was a lot of fun). Although Soan attempting to dance with pretty much everyone was also very amusing.

Then today I went to get my haircut, finally! The Pictures! )

I got my hair cut and restraightened this morning. I'm so happy with the length, I've been going insane over how long my hair's gotten for, like, a month. It was looking like he wasn't going to cut my hair too short, but after it was all done, it actually came out just right. Unfortunately in 2-3 months, it'll be way too long again, but oh well. I'll just get it cut, I suppose. Ahhh, it feels so short, even though... I mean, it's still 3-4 inches below my shoulders. But I took like... 5 inches off, so it just feels like so much less. Also, I love my hairdressers. They're these two guys in their like... mid-sixties who've been in a relationship now for like... I don't know, 10 years? And they're really adorable together. Seriously. It feels bizarre calling two men who are in their 60's adorable, but they really, really are.

SAT class once again. It was good, though, because I got all the questions on the vocab quiz right and all the questions on this one grammar section of an SAT practice test right. ...unfortunately, this is not nearly as cool as getting 100% on a vocab quiz in school right, seeing as we do not get grades in SAT prep class, unlike normal English at school. So I was kind of unneedlessly stressing about it. Oh well.

Downloaded the pilot of Bones last night. )

Edit: I just got the most bizarre e-mail. )

After spending several hours cleaning my room, I have come to two conclusions: A) there are far too many spiders in my room, and B) I am terribly afraid of spiders. Not all spiders, really. I'm fine with the daddy long legs that are thin, look frail, and live in plain site in my bathroom. But the thicker, darker ones? Horribly afraid of them. In my room, I found 2 baby spiders, which didn't really freak me out too much, as they were about the size of a speck of dust (...um, except for one, which took me by surprise by moving very quickly out of nowhere and caused me to freak out and kill it before realizing that it was very, very tiny and would cause me no harm). But on the other side of my room, in the corner, I found a good-sized, thick, dark spider and it scared the flying fuck out of me. I'm still nervous to go over there. I quickly abandoned cleaning that side of the room. I'll go back to it tomorrow. Uh. Probably.

Anyways. This is really all I've been doing today. The morning I squandered away doing absolutely nothing online. Then in the early afternoon, I started organizing my papers in some boxes in my room and finding stuff to put up on my walls (magazine pages and some photos). Then, after awhile, I moved on to deciding to just completely organize everything in my room. I've done... very little so far. But, as I said, I'm a little too freaked out by the spider to venture to the other side of the room, as I didn't see where it scampered off to. heh. I'm such a baby.

No plans for tomorrow. Well, Emma and Andrew sort of invited me to this big thing at Irvine Stadium where a bunch of people I know are going where there'll be food and games and then fireworks-watching. I was thinking about going, but I've been feeling kind of anti-social today, so I don't know. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

On Tuesday is a band gathering at Boomers Palace Park and then dinner somewhere. I was considering going for awhile, but then I remembered I have SAT class from 4-7, and the thing starts at 2. Even then, I was thinking about going for just an hour or two and then going straight to SAT class, but then my mom told me I have a hair appointment in the morning. Going to cut and re-straighten my hair. My hair used to be super-curly and I absolutely hated it, so I had it straightened last summer. It's actually stayed pretty straight. Only guaranteed to last like... 6 months, but it's been like 10 now and it's still pretty straight. Still, it's getting way too long, so I really want to cut it (not too short, just slightly below my shoulders) and I might as well restraighten it, because in a few months, it'll probably be a lot curlier. So, I guess that shoots any thoughts of going to the thing on Tuesday. It's ok, though. I might not even have decided to go, anyways.

Yeah, so it's been a pretty nothing day. I guess I'll move on and clean the next section of my room, provided I stop freaking out over the stupid spider.
